2021 marked a transformational year at MEPC, as we advanced the successes of our existing programs while developing new, innovative avenues of engagement with Washington and beyond. We are excited to share our 2021 annual highlights and we look forward to continuing to serve as a meaningful voice in the international policy community.
1) 40 Under 40
In 2021, MEPC launched our first ever 40 Under 40 program. Through our #MEPC40Under40 hashtag, 58 tweets were created and shared with over 560k users. Princeton University’s School of International and Public Affairs, George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, and State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs and Bureau of Energy Resources created tweets highlighting MEPC’s awardees from their institutions.
2) Media Appearances
International platforms, such as Sky News Arabia, Al-Ghad Al-Araby TV, and Asharq TV, as well as domestic platforms, including The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, and CNN, have featured MEPC's unparalleled expertise. MEPC leadership is prolific in news media and has been featured in over 150 interviews and articles in 2021 alone, reaching millions of people around the world.

5) Policy Products and Programing
In addition to hosting our 103rd, 104th, 105th, and 106th Capitol Hill Conferences, MEPC bolstered its congressional engagement through the creation of a Congressional Policy Briefs program.
