As the petroleum hub of the world for the last four decades, the Middle East and North Africa face a new challenge in balancing the centrality of the energy sector in their economies and the increasing effects of Climate Change. As a result, the region sits at a unique precipice to either slide into further environmental degradation or emerge as a renewable leader.
