On Thursday, December 16th, the Middle East Policy Council hosted a live discussion between Richard Schmierer (Chairman and President, MEPC) and Kim Ghattas (Contributing Writer, Atlantic Magazine; Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace). Ms. Ghattas discussed her book, “Black Wave: Saudi Arabia, Iran, and the Forty-Year Rivalry that Unraveled Culture, Religion, and Collective Memory in the Middle East,” that was recently reviewed in MEPC’s Middle East Policy journal.
