October 2021

October was an especially dynamic month at MEPC; we facilitated lively discussions with our Capitol Hill Conference and Journal Contributor Dialogue, enhanced TeachMideast engagement, and prepared for the inaugural launch of 40 Under 40. We expanded your access to breaking news and analysis directly from the Middle East via Straight from the Source and developed new online content for you in our eight focus areas.

MEPC leadership continues to be a prolific and influential voice throughout the U.S. and MENA with appearances in The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, CNN, Asharq TV, Sky News, Arabia, Al-Ghad Al-Araby TV, and more. For a full list, click here.

TeachMideast Engagement

We are constantly expanding and improving TeachMideast, (TME) to provide top-of-the-line educational resources and curriculum to students, teachers, and other civic leaders across the United States.

TME’s digital footprint grew substantially this month with new visual content highlighting the history, culture, and key current events in the region. Check TeachMideast’s Instagram!

Lead-In to 40 Under 40

To celebrate our 40th anniversary this year, MEPC was very busy preparing for the inaugural launch of the 40 Under 40 Awards. This exciting new program engages young leaders who influence U.S.-MENA relations across all sectors including academia, business, culture, and diplomacy.
