WMD

Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) threaten populations throughout the Middle East and North Africa, and yet some governments seek to use these weapons as a means to control citizens or deter their enemies. MEPC aims to emphasize new perspectives on emerging threats and challenges in the region regarding WMDs and issues of nuclear proliferation. Through the quarterly Capitol Hill conferences, journal articles, and Emerging Voices column, MEPC strives to highlight the continuing issues of nuclear non-proliferation and WMDs.
