David Cronin and Annette Groth

Mr. Cronin is an Irish journalist and activist living in Brussels and an associate editor of The Electronic Intifada, a website focused on Palestine. His books include Europe’s Alliance with Israel: Aiding the Occupation (2011), Corporate Europe: How Big Business Sets Policies on Food, Climate and War (2013) and Balfour’s Shadow: A Century of British Support for Zionism and Israel (2017). The interviews with Mr. Cronin and Ms. Groth were conducted by Roger Gaess (AQABA9@aol.com), an American-Belgian journalist.
Ms. Groth is an activist and writer living in Stuttgart, Germany. She served two terms (2010-18) in the German parliament, the Bundestag, as an MP for Die Linke (the Left party). She is a member of the Association for Justice Between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as a member of the Middle East Working Group of Pax Christi, an organization for international peace. In 2011, she participated in the Free Gaza Flotilla.
